Hunter manuscripts, notes, and ephemera [19---19--].

A collection of manuscripts, notes, reprints, clippings, and labels removed from photo mounts. While most of the dozen or so manuscripts (chiefly typewritten) are for chapters of Hunter's book The practical book of tapestries (1925), some were possibly for lectures or articles. The notes reflect Hunter's roles as author, teacher, and expertiser. Of note is a group of notes, clippings, and a few letters relating to a loan secured by the government of Austria in the early 1920s, using works of art as collateral, among which were tapestries and carpets which Hunter appraised in Vienna.

.5 linear ft. (1 box).
